Ambitious target depends on other nations' actions

Compiled from Bloomberg, Kyodo

Japan will target a 25 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2020 from 1990 levels, Yukio Hatoyama reiterated Monday.

Hatoyama's target is more ambitious than that of the man he will be succeeding as prime minister, Taro Aso, and one that has drawn fire from industry.

I think that this statement is good though I am not a supporter of his political party.

Criticizing is easy.

but

First of all, someone should set the target about such a matter.

He did it. even if it is his attraction.

Of course, he should execute it in the future.

There might be a good method though the risk of an economical problem will be owed.

Seriously thinking about the global environment is very wonderful.

The thing that the government takes the lead in it is very preferable.

All countries might have to cooperate if it is possible.

Because the earth is a house of all of us.
